Plenary sessions which were taken up by keynote speeches, feedback on recommendations and the production of a Manifesto to be presented to the European Union.

Invitational Conferences. These sessions are intended for specific target group and will be organized for representatives of governments, research institutes, volunteer organizations and the private sector.

State of the Art
A survey was conducted shortly to research the state of the art in volunteer policies in the 25 Member States of the European Union. The target groups in the survey were national, regional and local governments, the private sector and volunteer umbrella organizations.
